Issuing quality certificates

The quality certificate is a certificate issued by the authority at the request of the establishment stating the quality of a specific quantity of the commodity according to its standard specification, after conducting the necessary technical studies.

Conditions for granting a quality certificate

The authority grants the facility, upon its request, a quality certificate for a specific supply of a specific commodity stating that it conforms to the relevant standard (Gulf / foreign) when the following conditions are met:

• The establishment obtains the approval of the General Authority for Industrial Development or the General Authority for Investment, the industrial registry and the operating license, provided that their validity is valid.
• Existence of a foreign Gulf standard specification approved by the authority, especially for the commodity
• The quality of the results of the samples drawn and represented for the supply to its standard specification
• The facility provides the Authority with any data it requests about the commodity for which a quality certificate is required to be issued and facilitates the task of obtaining the necessary samples for testing
• The establishment shall pay the required fees according to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Authority issued in this regard
